Item 1. From, Robert Ellis Dunn, <bobdunnartist@@earthlink.net> e-mail received December 5, 2003.
"After the Civil War, a young Captain from the 32nd Illinois Volunteers, by the name
of Jefferson Dunn, returned to Greenfield, Illinois. His father, W. A. Dunn, had been
a Physician in Greenfield since 1859, and Jefferson was studying to become a Doctor
as well. William H. Ellis' daughter Julia had been away at school with the renown
Principal, Harriet N. Haskell, and at age 18 also returned home. It may have been
quite natural for Julia and Jefferson to meet in this small town, and with the Ellis and
Dunn properties being so near. March 3, 1867 they were married at the Dunn Home in
Greenfield, Illinois."

Item 2.Julie Ellis is a 6th Cousin Twice removed from Edward Dale Ellis.
