Our little girl Kathryn Elizabeth Freers (Katie for short) was born on 12-14-04 at 4:57pm.  She was a healthy 9 pounds 4 ounces at birth. Funny enough she was given the title of, "Largest baby in the nursery".

The old Ebenezer Burt 7 Ellis Farm in West Dummerston, Vermont. The gentleman in the center is probably Ebenezer. Who are the others? Could they be Mary Ward Stiles Ellis and John Ellis, father of Ebenezer?

Honoring
Asahel E. Ellis(1842- 1863)

Asahel E. Ellis was born Aug. 1, 1842. He served as a member of I Co., 16th Vermont Volunteers during Civil War and died at Union Mills, Virginia, Army Hospital April 9, 1863. He was 20 yrs 8 mos 8 days. His body was returned to Vermont and buried in Dummerston Center Cemetery next to his mother and father.
