Barlow, Ph D., Clark University, Worcester, MASS. , is noted as follows: "2. Samuel-2 (John-1) Briggs: s. of John-1 and Katherine ( ) Briggs; Married. about. 1664, Bennet-2, daughter. of Lieut. John-1 and Elizabeth-2 (Freeman) Ellis." This is in conflict with our record indicating Bennett 2 Ellis, married. to Obadiah Eddy about 1672, Plymouth Co., Plymouth, MA., in IGI Massachusetts, Pg. 1203
