Solomon Keyes of Newbury & Chelmsford, Mass., 1653 and their descendants also others of the name by Asa Keyes. Geo. E. Selleck, Printer. Brattleboro, Vt. 1880.
Solomon Keyes, 2nd child and eldest son of Colonel Danforth Keyes while quite young, with his brothers, David and Thomas, emigrated to the then wilds of Vermont, and settled in Vershire. The two former in north part of the state, on the Lamoille River, in the town of Cambridge, the residence of his sister Anna.
The daughters of Solomon all married and his children scattered over the West. The daughters and their husbands are not now living. The above form Keyes family history records.
All the daughters of Solomon Keyes and Mary [Newell] Keyes married, however, information transcribed from original document by Francis A. Ellis and passed down to Edward D. Ellis does not show to whom married.
