Benjamin Ellis baptized in the Sandwich Church 12 June 1700.
He married Hannah Gibbs, daughter of John and Esther (Swift) Gibbs.
Hannah Gibbs was the sister of Joanna and Mercy Gibbs who married Benjamin's brothers William and Samuel. They moved to Lebanon, Conn. after 1746, probably because of the death of his brother Samuel and further since her brother had moved there. His will, dated 20 June 1750, was proved in Lebanon.
The following reference will indicate all children of this family were born in Sandwich, Barnstable Co., Ma. Other references may show Plymouth, Plymouth, Ma.
