Seth Ellis lived in that part of Rochester that was annexed to form the town of Wareham, 10 Jul 1739. Seth Ellis was admitted to the Wareham Church 5 Oct 1746, but his wife was probably a founding member of the Wareham Church as their daughter Mary was baptized there in 1739. Their two eldest daughters were baptized in Rochester. Seth died intestate and Mary was appointed administratrix of his estate. The inventroy was dated 3 July 1749 and presented 13 July 1749.
