The <Ancestry.com> reference under mother Betsey G. Burgess should be carefully observed as to names and ages given, as it relates to probable dates of birth. We believe that Ezra B. Ellis and Trustman Ellis shown in 1850 U.S. Census under name of Francis Ellis are actually the children of Liba Ellis and wife Betsey G. Burgess.
The name of Debora G. Ellis in this same 1850 Census is actually Liba Ellis’s 3nd wife Deborah G. Gibbs or Deborah G. Ellis as shown. This census report further indicates that Liba Ellis has his parents living with him or he living with his parents Francis Ellis and Joanna [Briggs] Ellis. OK!
