Moon Family Genealogy Forum. John Moon, Columbia Co. Georgia. Posted by: Karen L. Dale. "A John W. Moon who married Alea Cole in Columbia in Jul 1826 may also have been a son of John Moon. He left a will dated April 1827 in which he left everything to Alley Moon. she is in the 1830 Census for Columbia with one female child under five in the household. Alea Moon married John McCorkle in Lincoln Co. GA 1831."
