Isaac Ellis and Sarah V. (Howe) Ellis lived in Springfield, VT. He served in Co. K., 16th Vermont, Vol., during the Civil War. He is a cousin of Londas G. Ellis who also served in Co. K., 16th Vermont. They are both 5th cousins of George Abbott Ellis, of Dummerston, Vt., who served in Co. I, 16th Vermont all this at Battle of Gettsburgh.
