It should be noted that with the death of John Giddings his then wife Dorcus Mindwell [Willcox] Giddings married her neighbor John Barnes Potts. He taking on the two children, of Dorcus 1st marriage, Levi Franklin Giddings and Theodore Marshall Giddings. John Barnes Potts and Dorcus Myndwell [Willcox-Giddings] Potts had three children as follows: John Chester Potts, Aurelia Sarah Potts and Charlotte Isabel Potts.
