RECEIVES DEGREE--A masters degree in education will be awarded Thursday to Roy Ellsworth, of Walled Lake, Michigan. The Wayne State University commencement exercises will be held in Masonic Temple auditorium, Detroit. He is a graduate of Alpena High school and is the son of Mr. & Mrs. George Ellsworth, R 1, Alpena. He is married to the former Catherine McPhillips of Alpena and is the father of three children, Ida Jean, John R., and George Thomas Ellsworth. Currently Ellsworth is principal of an elementary school at Southgate a Detroit suburb. He earned his bachelor's degree at Central Michigan University, Mt. Pleasant.
