Burial in New Virginia, Warren Co., Louisiana. Spouse as Elizabeth Shirley and
married in 1858 of Warren Co., Louisiana. This is all getting very close to Civil War
Period.
Item 2.1850 United States Federal Census, Salem, Washington, Ohio., lists Charles as a farmer.
This is not usual at the age of 15 years. His brother William is also married at
a very early age of 14. This same census indicates mother Deborah is Blind perhaps
this has entered the family picture.
