Misc. Notes
Sources & Information:
Joseph Ellis name appears on the list of Harwich men who petitioned, 16Jan1746, that the southern part of Harwich be made a separate precinct. Joseph was profitably trading in his wife's inherited Dartmouth property until a deed, dated 17 February 1755, indicated that he had moved from Harwich. In no less than eighteen deeds he is called "cordwainer of Dartmouth." No birth or baptismal records found on the children; there may have been more than listed.
The Register, Jan 1967, Pg.. 41-42.
