Ancestry.com > 1860 United States Federal Census, Newbury, Orange Co., Vermont, regarding William A. Gould, age 8 yrs. Other Members of this family: Allen Gould, age 47, his father; Adeline A. Gould, age 40 his mother; Mary L. Gould, age 14, a sister and Emmer [Emma] N. Gould, a sister.

We also have a listing for Mary L. Gould, age 33, born abt. 1847 and the Housekeeper for William A. Gould her brother. There is a further listing of a Ardella Earley, Servant, age 18 or born abt. 1862, in Indiana, with Father and Mother both born in Virginia. This is especially interesting since William A. Gould married a Della C. EARLY (Note difference in spelling but similar). The other thing is that his sister was living in Mound, Miami, Kansas, in 1880. She at one point in time returned to Newbury, Orange Co., Vermont were she died @ age 100 yrs 1 mo 22 days, on 14 Dec 1932 with never having married.
