NEWSPAPER OBITUARY -
Mrs Mary A. Giddings, age 89, died at noon today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Francis A. Ellis, 606 Lawson Avenue, after a brief illness. Mrs. Giddings was born Jan. 29, 1850. Her husband, Theodore Giddings, died in 1934. The body is at the William Sullivan and Son Funeral home, 109 East Third street, pending funeral arrangements.

Funeral service for Mrs. Mary A. Giddings, age 89, who died Wednesday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Francis A. Ellis, 606 Lawson avenue, after a week's illness, will be conducted at 2 P.M., Friday in the William Sullivan & Son chapel, 109 East Third street, by the rev. Robert S. Steen of First Presbyterian church. Burial will be at Prestonville cemetery.
Mrs. Giddings was born Jan. 29, 1850, in Macomb, Mich., the daughter of Noble and Marion Sutton. She had been a resident of Royal Oak the last 22 years. Her husband, Theodore, who died in 1934, formerly operated the general store at Macomb. Mrs. Giddings was formerly a member of the Good Samaritans.
Surviving, besides the daughter, are five grandchildren, Mrs. M. E. Wilson of Owosso, Mrs. Frank Barron and Mrs. Ogle D. Scott of Royal Oak, Mrs. G. R. Blackburn of Grand Rapids and Edward D. Ellis of Royal Oak; and a brother, Corydon D. Sutton of Coldwater.
