In Emily's fathers probate records she was listed as being single and living at home in St Clair, Michigan but married and living in Alpena, Michigan in 1864. Emily was a witness to the marriage of her brother John Ellsworth and Ellen Lane on 31 March 1867 in Alpena, Michigan.
Certified Copy Death Certificate Record No. 8, File No. 262, State Dept. of Health, Vital Statistics, Olympia, Washington, indicates father as I. Ellsworth [aka] Israel B. Elsworth and mother as Mary A. Gage. Her husband was living at the time of her death and was the informant on her death certificate, C. D. Squire, 2314 Keesling St., Bellingham, Washington, her last known address.
The only Squires in Bellingham, was a Ralph Squires, but not related to this family. A picture of Bert and Bertie "Puss" Squire shows their name as Squires rather than Squire. A picture of Judson Squires was taken by F. Hardy, Fergus Falls, Minnesota, but lists his address as 1400 Woburn, Bellingham, Washington, phone was 733-1100. His name also listed as Squires rather than Squire. Even those these pictures list the name as Squires it is believed the correct spelling should be Squire. Emily Samatha [Ellsworth] Squire death certificate says SQUIRE.
There is a question as to Emily and Amaciah Ellsworth being twins. Dates are not in agreement.
