From ledger of Christopher John Ellsworth, in possession of Laura Ellen Ellsworth Mole of Owosso, Michigan, indicates Israel as having come from Canada in 1837. Indicates date of death as 1855, however, certificate says 24 September 1854. Also states grandmothers maiden name as Gage, died. 1882. Further states maiden name as Mosier. This is a bit confusing unless Mary Ann Gage had been married before. Perhaps referring to Mary Ann Gage's mother.

Some confusion is created in the above location listing as Prince Edward Island. Should actually have been Price Edward County as shown:
There is a Prince Edward Island and is Canada's smallest but most densely populated province, located in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, off the coast of Nova Scotia. The reference used here is Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada, and located along the eastern edge of the north shore of
Lake Ontario. This is the area for all Aylsworth, Elsworth and/or Ellsworth to have located in
on arrival in Canada.

Ellsworth, son of Gideon Bowerman Elsworth and Sara Belle Crawford, born 26 October 1858,
St Clair Co., Mi., died in Alpena, Mi., and within 6 miles as the crow flys from Cathro, Mi.
