Thus it is further assumed that a second marriage for John Gilmore Ellis was consummated. This second marriage was to Mary E. Ellis, Mary Eliza Witherly, "Lizzie" or Miss ______ Osborne or Liza Ausbourne. The various names just given have appeared accordingly but every indication is that they are one and the same person. Such as Mary E. Ellis used in Proof of Death and Heirship, in Probate Court, Becker Co., Detroit Lakes, MN, regarding John G. Ellis, dated 1 July 1905.
