The name of Mary Ellis is correct since she is the daughter of Cornelius Ellis and Mercy (Atkins) Ellis. Date of of marriage for Ebenezer Ellis and Marcy Atkins, 2 or 3 February 1739-40.
The Register lists Philip as a son of Ebenezer and a brother of Isaac. The research of Mrs. Bertha Ellis Walsh indicates that Philip was a son of Isaac rather than his brother. There is no record of the births or baptisms of these children and there may have been more than those identified. The children were probably born in Harwich.
