s/o John Ellis and Elinor Randall, was b. 1774 in Mass. m. Anna Briggs, b. 1785
in Vermont, lived in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. until about 1825 when he brought his
family to Maine, N.Y. in Broome County. See notes under John Ellis.
