Intention 15 June 1782. Nathan Ellis was a Revolutiona;ry War soldier serving as a private in Capt. Samuel Brigg's company, Col. Theophilus Cotton's regiment, Gen Palmer's brigade, Sept. 1777. He enlisted to serve in the Continental Army in Capt. Wadsworth's Company, Col. Bradford's regiment; term to expire 10 Jan 1778. He is listed in the 1790 census as the head of a Falmouth family of one male over 16 and four females.
