Item 4. Notations in Lt. Barnabas Ellis family bible. This bible published in Auburn and
Rochester, by Alden and Beardsley, 1856. On this date of entry [28 Jan 2001] it would be
147 years old. The bible was obtained by John Francis Ellis by purchase on the e-bay Web
Page. Wonder how and why it got into the market and by what possible member of the family
let it go. ??? Would like to find a direct descendant of Barnabas Ellis by name of Ellis
interested in it.
Item 5.FOUND A direct descendant of Barnabas Ellis was found by name of Robert Ellis Dunn, P.O.
Box 1377, Granite Falls, Washington 98252 and bible has since been shipped to him.
