John and Sarah (Ellis) Joy, married 13 November 1834 in Washington County, Ohio, Hiram Gard, Justice of the Peace and Benjamin Tupper, Judge of the County Court of Common Pleas, presiding. At the time of their marriage John was from Athens Co., Ohio and Mary from Washington Co. Their children are according to the 1850 census of Homer, Morgan Co., Ohio.
