NEW PORT RICHEY -- Fred D. Beneway, 84, 513 E. Montana Ave., died Sunday. A native of Tecumseh, Michigan, he had lived here six years, coming from Berkley, Mich. He was former city commissioner of Berkley, and former judge of Royal Oak Township, Mich. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Etta M. Beneway; a son, Cecil Beneway, Corbin, Ky., and a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Buck, New Port, Richey.
