Mrs. Julia Schneider Wharff, 83, of Lowell, died Wednesday evening in Memorial
Hospital as a result of injuries received in a fall at her home Friday evening.
She was admitted to the hospital Saturday. Mrs. Wharff was born May 10, 1868
in Lowell, the daughter of Jacob Schneider and Margaret Baker Schneider. She was a
member of Lowell Christian Church. Her husband, Jesse J. Wharff, died Dec. 17, 1945.
Survivors include one son, Robert Wharff (we have Rolla Jacob Wharff) of Ferndale,
Detroit, Mich.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. R. S.
Payne of Marietta, also survives.Services will be conducted by Rev. George Koch at
the Peoples Funeral Home. The date and time of services is indefinite pending word from
the grandchildren. Interment will be inGreenlawn cemetery.
