There are no children of Fernando Ellsworth and Ella A. Wingrove marriage. The death certificate for Fernando Ellsworth indicates date of birth as 17 May 1869. The informant, his sister-in-law, had submitted for death certificate had to be given incorrectly. It would have made his birth very close to his sister Ida Isabelle Ellsworth.
Fernando and his wife Ella lived for a number of years in Ogden, Utah. He was a U. S. Mail Carrier and she reported as a School Teacher in the 1900 U.S. Census.
Ada C. Wingrove is a sister of Ella A. Wingrove who lived at 2624 Childs Ave., Ogden, Utah on November 6, 1941. Fernando and wife Ella are reported to have lived at 1444 24th St., Ogden, Utah.
It is further reported that Fernando Ellsworth's brother Charles Centennial Ellsworth had given him an Ellsworth family record book of the 1930's which had been kept by their father, John Ellsworth. Following Fernando's death on 5 October 1941, in Ogden, Utah, his wife's sister (Ada E. Wingrove) inherited everything and this book has not been seen since. Lucille Mae Ellsworth Schooks had a record book that once belong to John Ellsworth. This may be the one referred to above.
STATEMENT - October 3, 1982
On September 14, 1982, I Edward D. Ellis and wife Kathleen Annabelle [Ellsworth-Hartman] Ellis personally visited and located the grave sites of Fernando Ellsworth and Ella A. Wingrove in The Mountain View Cemetery, Ogden, Utah which has been incorporated into the Aultorest Memorial Gardens, Ogden, Utah. The old original records indicate that Ella [Wingrove] Ellsworth, was born August 15, 1865, died December 9, 1938, age 73 yrs 30 mos 24 days and buried in single grave NW 1/4, Lot 12A, Block No. 7. That Fernando Ellsworth was born May 17, 1869, died October 5, 1941, age 72 yrs 4 mos 18 days and buried in lot 110, per GO 3280. There is a map of this cemetery in the Ellsworth Family Genealogy binders indicated the exact location of No 1. Ella Wingrove Ellsworth and No. 2 location that of Fernando Ellsworth. There are no markers for either.
