enlisted Sept. 27, 1777; discharged Oct. 29, 1777; service, 1 mo. 4 days, at
Rhode Island on a secret expedition. Roll sworn to in Bristol Co. Dischared 29 October 1777.
Item 2.He moved to Conway, Hampshire (now Franklin) County soon after the war.
Known to reside in Conway, Franklin County, Massachusetts, then moved to Chautauqua
County, New York.
Item 3.Barzillai Ellis Gravestone is in Christian Cemetery, Near Cassadaga, Chautauqua County,
New York.
